ABOUT THE PRESENTER :

Mr.Spoonhoward has been an elementary teacher and administrator for over 30 years in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. He has had the experience of teaching many subjects at a variety of grade levels. As a professional educator, he has successfully met the challenge of helping and motivating students to enjoy and learn about American history and the sciences. During those years , Mr. Spoonhoward has employed and observed many techniques of teaching, but none have been more successful than the use of his collection of famous "educational tools" or "toys", as referred to by his students. Now that he has retired from the teaching profession, Mr. Spoonhoward enjoys being an"edutainer" and has prepared a unique, captivating, adaptable and enjoyable historically-based program. He is eager to share his skills, experience, knowledge and expertise in a manner that will educate and entertain audiences of all ages and in all settings.
